Note from Alanda Craft: How cute is this Dogs & Suds Panel quilt. Being a dog lover myself, I  just love the dog panel and the border just goes so well with it. You can see here that Barbara has used backing fabric featuring the same theme and it just finishes the quilt off beautifully. And as we all know, the quilting is the pièce de résistance.

Just scroll down to see three versions of the Dogs & Suds Quilts with the various borders and backings. It just goes to show how different you can make a panel quilt look.

When she finishes her quilts, Barbara takes them to the Clover Patch Quilt Shop in Santa Clara, Utah, to be quilted. You can see by the detail in Barbara’s quilts that they do an awesome job.

So if you have a quilt that you need quilted contact Rolayne, Chrystal or Jill and they will be able to help you out. You can also purchase fabric and finished quilts in the shop.  I did notice some rather nice Southwest cotton fabrics and some lovely floral fabrics, and the ladies also run quilting classes so if you are in the area you might want to check them out.

Barbara Says:
I bought three panels and different companion fabrics. All three came out so differently which is on of the things I like about quilting. The others have been posted under “Readers Projects.”
