Readers Project: Bel’s Improv Checkerboard Charm Square Tote bag

Note from Alanda Craft: Bel shows how easy it is to adapt our Checkerboard Charm Square tote bag tutorial and make it uniquely your own.  Adding the contrasting green and pink fabrics really make the charm squares stand out.  I also like how you have used the charm squares to such great effect on the back.  Great idea using up the mini charm squares Bel. We love it, thank you for sharing your finished bag with us.

Bel Says:
I had a mini charm pack in my stash – ‘Regent Street’ by Sentimental Studios for Moda – that I decided I wanted to make a bag with. However, I had no idea how to make a bag.

Fortunately, the world has YouTube, and so in searching, I came across your tutorial that suited my measurements with the charm squares and extra fabric from previous projects. Put it all together, and I now have a great new bag, and the knowledge to make more!

Thanks so much, Alanda Craft, can’t wait to check out your other tutorials!
