Sizzix Big Shot Machine: What Can it Cut?
As many of you are already aware, we are big fans of the Brother ScanNCut, however we also have a Sizzix Big Shot machine, which we love. It’s an awesome machine for the price and it can cut through a lot of materials that the ScanNCut might struggle with.

We used a Sizzix butterfly die in the test that had a number of different pieces as we wanted to test to see how well it would cut through both simple and more intricate patterns.
The Result?
Well, most worked great but a few didn’t work quite as well. I think that running it through a second time might have done the trick with some of them.
Some materials needed a helping hand from a pair of scissors just to finish them where the knife didn’t quite cut through.
