Readers Project – Michelle’s Big Craft Bag

Note from Alanda Craft: Michelle from Canada,  sent us pictures of her completed craft bags. She made two of them and they look great.  These bags were made from our Big Craft Bag tutorial.  It’s a very big bag that is ideal for taking your craft supplies along to craft class and we just love the big bags.

“I loved making the bags so much. Your video was really clear and I listened to it carefully and I took notes. The first bag I made was the blue one, and I made it exactly like your tutorial. Then I made the red one but I changed it. Instead of making it with 2 gussets, I made it with 3 gussets. I put the pocket on the main fabric in the middle and added a contrasting fabric on the top. On the inside, I put the pocket on the bottom and added contrasting fabric on top.

It is so easy to customise the bag to your personal preferences and as you can see in the photos below that is exactly what Michelle has done.  We think she has done an awesome job.

I love the idea of the extra pockets. I’d love to have another pocket on the side for my water bottle. May give this one a try.

I love this Big craft bag. Where can I find how much fabric to buy/supply list for the big craft bag? On your tutorial on YouTube it says to check the list below there is not a list so I’m at your website trying to find the pattern in the instructions I can get from YouTube but I don’t know how much fabric to buy .
